Aged 18, I moved from Leigh-on-Sea to London - here I studied at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu school, earning my place through their scholarship program. Following graduation, I worked my way through some of London’s best kitchens including classical Koffmann's at The Berkeley and Michelin starred La Trompette, absorbing the expertise of many passionate mentors along the way. Upon moved to Australia in 2016, I discovered new Asian-influenced techniques and the use of Australian indigenous ingredients at Two Hat awarded Woodland House in Melbourne. Returning to London in 2019, I worked at Michelin starred Brat in Shoreditch, before returning to Leigh-on-Sea to start Zoë’s Kitchen when the COVID pandemic began.
I now focus on creating fine dining experiences for people in and around Essex celebrating special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and weddings, providing an opportunity for my customers to enjoy restaurant quality meals in the comfort of their own homes. At the core of my work is an unwavering commitment to delivering food and service of exceptional quality, celebrating seasonal produce and prioritising attention to detail. I’m fortunate to have my partner Dani bringing his waiter and baking expertise to the business; we share a love for the craft of hospitality, and strive to make hosting a celebratory meal feel effortless, personal and luxurious for our clients and their guests.
“Zoë created the most amazing feast for my daughter’s birthday. she listened to my list of requirements and created a very well balanced, totally delicious menu, whilst including lots of my daughter’s favourite dishes”
